Stand-up comedian, actor, presenter and model Abu Hena Roni was burnt in a gas balloon explosion at an event in Gazipur last Friday (September 16) afternoon. Currently he is undergoing treatment at Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute. Doctors say that Roni is not safe.
Roni was one of the best contestants of Indian comedy show ‘Miracle’. Mirakkel presenter Mir Afsar Ali is worried about the news of his burning. He asked for ‘prayer’ for this beloved comedian on social media.
In a status given on Facebook, Mir wrote, ‘Abu Hena Roni himself is fire. Who can afford to burn him? Pray everyone.’
Dr. Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute resident surgeon about Roni’s physical condition. SM Ayub Hossain said, ‘Abu Hena Roni’s trachea has been slightly damaged. He has been kept under close observation in the ICU.
Meanwhile, apart from Roni, four other people were burnt in the gas balloon explosion. They are Mosharraf Hossain, Zillur Rahman, Imran Hossain and Rubel Hossain. An investigation committee has been formed in this incident.
