The actor was in Singapore for an event, where he died of this cardiac arrest. He might have suffered the cardiac arrest because of over fatigue. He also did not eat proper food which led to his death.
Puneeth was working very hard so that his upcoming movie “Doddmane Hudga” gets released on time and also his other movies were to be released in the month of November. He was working for all these films and eventually met with such an accident.
Puneeth Rajkumar was born on 23rd April, 1975 at Mysore to actor Rajkumar and film maker Parvathamma. His initial name was Raghavendra Rajkumar, but it became Puneeth after he started acting in films in his childhood.
After doing small roles in films like “Shashurshagana”, “Mudalali” and others when he was a child artist, he played the lead role in the movie “Anand”. This movie made him an instant star among Kannada audience. After this, he paired up with Ramya for several movies like “Om, Rishi Kashi” and others.
His father passed away in 2006, but Puneeth tried his best to keep the banner of “Rajkumar Productions” alive. He introduced his sister Hemamalini’s son Prajwal Devaraj as hero in the movie “Anjaan”. This film business made him even more hard working and also financially independent.
He is blessed with a baby boy named Crigutivu (meaning: Master of Hearts) by actress Parul Yadav through surrogacy at Chennai recently in June this year. Now there are many expectations on this child too in terms of acting in films in future.
Puneeth Rajkumar’s latest released “Jaggu Dada” has collected huge collections at Box Office. His upcoming film “Doddmane Hudga”, which stars the heroines Radhika Pandit, Ragini Dwivedi and Sonal Chauhan is to be released on 1st December this year. This movie is expected to join big collections due to Puneeth Rajkumar’s name.
The actor along with his friends went for an event in Singapore, where he suddenly collapsed during that function. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where he breathed his last at around 9pm IST yesterday (29th October).
Now there is a big vacuum in Kannada film industry as Puneeth Rajkumar is no more in the film industry.
Puneeth Rajkumar’s funeral will take place at 11am IST today (30th October) at his residence in Bengaluru where many political leaders, actors and other Kannada personalities are expected to attend.
